Greely High School has skated a boys
Varsity ice hockey team since the 1983-84 season. Before that, there were informal club teams depending on the
level of interest of the students. Since 1983, Greely has maintained a competitive high school program with a
Varsity team and, in some years, a Junior Varsity team. Greely has
had a Junior Varsity team since the 1999-2000 season.
The GOALS of the Greely High School Hockey program are:
-
TO
be a highly competitive, hardworking, skilled hockey team that
also embodies sportsmanship and character.
-
TO continually strive to improve ourselves as players and as a team.
-
TO
learn to win and lose with grace and represent the school and the community with dignity.
-
TO enjoy the process of working together as a team, to build friendships, share our love for the game and to have fun.
